Who can you view embedded objects when not online

We generate letters from our website and (for various reasons) import the
HTML into Word2003 on desktops with logos on each page. These letters are
then emailed out to clients. Problem is if the client has a dial up
connection when the docuemnt is printed and returned, if they are not
connected to the web the images do not show, which is a big problem.

I would ideally like a solution where we can download the html into Word
2003 and run a macro which embeds the images into the file before sending
thus not requiring the user to be online to produce the images.

Hi Julian:

In Word, use Insert>Picture to insert the pictures into the document rather
than link to them. Then save the result as a template and use that to begin
your letters. If the picture is saved in the document before you email it,
the images will be send inline with the email.

Cheers

Thank you for the advice, however the document is generated online using php
(we are unable to access MS Word on the web server) and as such the PHP
creates an HTML document but renames it as a .doc The client side machine
then calls this document which Word opens by importing the HTML and the
document is ready to email. The problem is still how to run a quick fix macro
on the material we have to cure the problem of linked images ??
