Who Does What Report

I would like to create a report for each of the guys working on my project
that shows:

1) their tasks,
2) when they need to finish each task
3) how many hours I think each task should take.

This will help them plan their workload.

The closest report is the "Who Does What" report - but there are aspects of
the report I don't like.

1) (most important), it doesn't put the tasks in order by date. I have tried
to "sort by finish" in the "sort" tab, but it doesn't have any effect on the
report.

2) it has too many columns - can I hide some of the columns?

3) I want one report for each person - not a combined report - how can I do
that?

So perhaps there is a completely different, creative way I can get at the
data I want.

Suggestions anyone?

Thanks,

Judy

Judy,
Why not simply go with the Resource Usage view and then filter by
resource. You can even sort by start date if that is desirable.

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much John, but I didn't really want to give everyone a calendar,
just a list of tasks with start finish date listed and hours that I expect
them to charge to the task.

OK - I figured out that I could put in the appropriate columns, and move the
calendar off to the right and it seems to print OK. So I will run with that,
unless you have a better way to "turn off" the caledar view. Thanks.

Judy,
Pulling the timescale data to the extreme right is probably the easiest
method.

Did you ever figure out how to sort by start/finish date via the Who Does
What Report? I'm having the same trouble not getting the sort processed
correctly even after I tell it to sort by date.
