Why%2c when I format date do I get different formats

I don't know much about Excel, so maybe there is an easy answer? When I try
to format the date cells some dates come out as e.g. 12/07/05 others as
07/12/05. This is the way I am attempting to format the date - I highlight
the date column click on format then on cells, pick a date then choose a
type. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Wow, its a bit odd that you'ld ask a purely Excel question in the
Infopath forum. Did you get lost?

That said, it's *probably* has something to do with your machine's
default date settings (Start/Settings/Control panel/Regional and
Language Options) being different from when you set the date format
explicitly.
