why a same doc file looks different on two computers?

Hi,

I got sth weird about Word. We have two computers, with same edition of
office and with same modules installed, at least we think so.

when we open one doc file in one computer, some layout of the doc is quite
messy, while everything is fine in another computer.

I checked the fonts in these two computers, they are same. is that all i can
check?

Is there anything else may cause this problem?
