Why am I receiving two copies of my e-mail

T

Can anyone tell me why I am receiving two copies of my e-mail in microsoft
outlook.
I do have two other e-mail accounts and one of them may have something to do
with it, I'm not sure.

Some questions:
Are the duplicates appearing the same folder (Inbox, etc.)?
Where do the duplicates appear (Inbox)?
Are the duplicates consistent (e.g. every message, only occasional and
seemingly random, specific senders, only external inbound messages [if you
have a corporate email account])?
Do you use a PDA and if so, do you synchronize Outlook (specifically email)
with your PDA?

Some suggestions (you can also read here:
http://www.sperrysoftware.com/Outlook/Outlook-Duplicates.asp)

1) Check your Outlook rules to make sure no rules make copies to your Inbox.
2) Use Task Manager to make sure you have only one instance of Outlook.exe
running. Multiple instances of Outlook can create duplicate messages. It
should not be possible to have multiple instances of Outlook, but apparently
this happens sometimes.
3) Make sure you have the latest Office patches installed
(http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads)
4) Apparently duplicates can be an issue if you have two (multiple) email
accounts with different email addresses but the same POP3/SMTP servers. If
this is the case, try disabling Receive for one of the accounts. To do so,
open Tools -> Options, Mail Setup tab, press Send/Receive..., select All
Accounts and press Edit (assuming you only have an All Accounts entry). In
the Send/Receive Settings dialog, select one of the accounts, and under
Account Options, uncheck Receive mail items. See
