Why are drawing created with 'drawing tools' not printed ?

Hi,

Sometimes I'm using the 'drawing tools' icon to draw shapes etc.
However, when I do a print preview or print it, then the shpaes created with
'drawing tools' are not shown.

Any suggestion how I can get them visible?
