Why are my meeting requests automatically deleted?

Whenever I get a meeting request and I accept it, the message is moved to my
deleted items folder. I am pretty sure there is a way to prevent this, as at
my old job it didn't used to do that. But I cannot find the setting.
Sometimes my meeting requests have information that I need and I don't want
them in the deleted folder automatcially.

Tools | Options | Email Options | Advanced Email Options | Uncheck "delete
meeting requests...".

Thank you so much. You don't know how many times I've gone through and read
the options and I guess just never it there.
