Why are there formatting/markup symbols in my new email messages

Jimmy

I access my company's server through Remote Destop Connection. I have
recently experienced problems when I'm creating new Outlook messages or
replying to messages in my Inbox. I'm seeing the New Paragraph symbol
(capital P with 2 posts) on each line, as well as other formatting/markup
symbols. However, when I send the message to someone, they do NOT see these
symbols. I have tried going into the individual message and into Outlook to
turn off the formatting and/or markup option, but with no luck.

Does anybody have an answer to this?

Annoyed,

Jimmy
