Why aren't the document properties uploading in my header?

Hi,

I am developing a template in Word 2007 and using the document properties on
the cover page as well as the headers and footers.

For some bizarre reason the text in the header doesn't update when I update
the doc properties in a document based on the template. These fields work
fine in the actual template, however!

All other fields in the document - including those in the footer work fine!
