I created some forms and saved them as .dot files.
Every time you open them and fill out the fields and save them as a .doc file, there comes uo a window asking, if it should also save the changes in the .dot file.

Definitely no, whats wrong there`can I swith this dialog somewhere off?

Are you navigating to the location where the templates have been saved &
actually opening the template files themselves? If so, that could account
for the message.

In order to create new documents based on a template use the File> Project
Gallery route or navigate to the template location using Finder rather than
going through File> Open.

If that isn't the issue you'll need to provide substantially more
descriptive details about the circumstances.
