Why can I not see Visio 2003 files that I saved?

I am attempting to save a Visio 2003 file that I am working with so that I
can e-mail it. The file says that it is saved, but it does not show up in
the folder when I try to attach it (MS Outlook 2003). I have been able to
save and find Visio files in the past, but not today. I am using Windows XP
Professional.

Look in My Documents or create a Visio drawing with an unusual name and then
do a File search from the desktop to determine exactly where it is located.

You should also check the File locations setting under Options within Visio.
