I have recently purchased an MDA Pro from T-mobile. I have been able to
syncronise it with Outlook on my pc. What I just cannot understand is why I
am not able to send email from the phone/pda?! I can set up a POP3 account
separate to Outlook on the phone/pda, and it send email successfully, as it
does with my Hotmail account, so the phone is clearly capable of sending and
receiving email. But I cannot send email from within Outlook on the phone -
instead, when I try to do this it simply puts it in the outbox and waits
until I connect to the PC again and sync, then the pc sends the mail. I
thought the whole idea of having a mobile device and of windows mobile was to
be able to work remotely?! I don't consider having to plug my phone/pda into
my pc at home to send email as being able to work remotely!!! This package
seems to take me 99% of the way to having a great system, but fails with the
last 1% ... am I the only one who thinks this is crazy?! It seems that the
technology is all there but I can't use it ..... ?!?!?!?!?
