Why can't I add the "email" button to my toolbar in OneNote

I installed OneNote and office 2003 and there is no email button in the tool
bar. I can't drag and drop the icon to any of the tool bars, and Outlook is
not an option in the "Send To" option in the File Menu

Sounds like you need to designate Outlook 2003 as the default email program.
You can see what the status is by opening Internet Explorer, then going to
Tools/Internet Options/Programs. After it is set correctly, restart your
computer.

Thanks, Chris. That was it. I just posted another question about Outlook to
OneNote. Any thoughts on the following:

When I open Outlook 2003 I receive the following error message:

"The add-in "C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashOutXt.dll could not
be installed or loaded"

I think it started appearing after I installed OneNote Power tool: Send
Outlook to OneNote. But when I uninstall the tool, I still have the problem.

Good deal. I'll see if I can answer you in the other thread, so we don't
mix subjects here.
