I frequently find that when I'm writing an e-mail in Outlook that I can not
change the font or on selected text.
I select the text, move up to the formatting toolbar, select the font I
want, click on a font size and then, mysteriously, the font on the selected
text simply changes itself back to what it was before.
Sometimes, I even find that the behavior is confined to certain portions of
a message. In other words, I can change fonts at will in some paragraphs,
but in other paragraphs the font is seemingly "locked in."
What accounts for this bizzare and annoying behavior, and how do I make it
stop?
