Why can't I copy and paste a hyperlink into Word 2008?

I'm an experienced blogger accustomed to copying and pasting hyperlinks. This process is pretty standard across a lot of programs, and I use the right mouse button most of the time. It appears to work the same way in Word 2008, but when I try to copy and paste (or cut and paste) the link into the appropriate box...nothing happens. It's as if the right mouse button doesn't exist. What am I doing wrong? Do I need to use a different form of the document? Does Word 2008 not work with Mozilla? Please advise. Thank you!

Looks like a bug to me!

If you use Command + v, it will work.

I suggest you use the Send Feedback item on the Help menu to send that off
to the people who can fix it.

Cheers

I can copy and paste tje URL into the Word Notebook but some are past in as a hot link and work and others paste in as text. There is no Insert Hyperlink in the MS Word 2008 Notebook. Have a missed a feature? :worried:

A thought - the ones that paste as plain text... What happens if you then
press spacebar or return?
