why cant I copy and paste?

Hi
When ever I ry to copy and paste out of Word 11 it comes out as a pdf,
not text. Can anyone help?

I think we need more details. Are you saying that if you copy a sentence
from a Word document and paste it into another Word document, the second
document becomes a pdf? That makes no sense. Could you please describe
step by step exactly what you're doing.
