(MS06-015) on April 25th - See FAQ section
For those who are experiencing problems now after installation of the update and
who have Hewlett Packard's Share to Web Software, there are two registry patches
to choose from (run either one or the other) not both (NB both patches do the
same thing):
Ottmar Freudenberger's is available at:-

(Note this is a Zip file and will need to be extracted. It contains a REG file
which needs to be imported into the registry)

the top of the page.
If you hare not using "Share to Web Software" then consider the following:
Are you using a Nvidia video card? Check for updated drivers.

If you uninstall the update make sure you read the section titled "Workaround
for Windows shell vulnerability" under Vulnerability Details:

|I recently accepted automatic updates for my computer but have since found I
| can no longer access my files in MS Office. The thing just freezes up and
| stops responding. I restored my system to before the updates and Office
| files were fine/accessable. I then accepted the updated a second time and
| find the same problem. I have Nortons and have scanned all, no
| threats/viruses found. I am convinced it must be the updates but why? which
| one? and how do I fix?
