When I am reminded to install updates by window eg. security update for
Publisher 2003 and Update to Outlook 2003 junk e mail filter, this always
unsuccessful.

This newsgroup is for questions about Access, the database product that's
part of Office Professional.

There is a newsgroup related to Windows Update
(microsoft.public.windowsupdate), although to be honest, I don't know
whether you can access it through Microsoft's web interface. If you can't,
you could try going through http://groups.google.com (or use a newsreader
such as Outlook Express or Forte Agent)

i'm having the same problem - nobody replies - i really believe MS has no
answer because they want you to buy office 2007 - i've tried all the
suggested workarounds like turning off firewalls and disabling spyware and
such - but i keep getting the message to install updates when i turn off PC -
if anybody out there has an answer - reply please - this has been on ongoing
problem since 09/2007

What exactly are you referring to? I don't see any original messages in
this thread. Is your problem related to Microsoft Access, or is it a
general Office question?

Be aware that Microsoft doesn't staff these newsgroups; as a rule, the
participants here are just ordinary people who either have questions or
donate their time to answer them.
