Why can't I open a .pdf file in OneNote (when I could yesterday)?

The only change I've made is upgrading to Acrobat Reader 7. I need some
feedback ASAP.

Hi Jessica,

Have you opened Acrobat Reader 7 once since you upgraded? If not, then
you should it open it via All Programs, Adobe Reader 7.0. The Adobe
Reader wants you to accept a license agreement when you first open it.
Besides a potentially corrupt Adobe installation, that might be a reason
for this not working.
Let me know if it worked.

I think that's a known issue with all OFfice applications. I've downgraded
to Acrobat 5 (I don't need all of the extra bells and whistles in the later
versions).

There's apparently an update which fixes this if you must stay with V7:
