why can't I receive emails sent to myself in outlook express any .

When I forward something in my email, I like to send the message to myself
with the recipients in the BCC ... that way I'm not showing everyone who gets
the mail.

In the last couple of weeks I suddenly cannot receive any emails I send to
myself ... the BCC addressees all get the email, but I don't . This is true
whether I us my pacbell.net address or my yahoo address.

I have searched both Microsoft and the web for an answer, but haven't been
able to find anything. I am using XP and have run all the windows updates
available as well.

Please realize this:
I AM NOT A GEEK ... so please do not assume I know anything about computers
and programs. If you have a suggested fix, please walk me through all the
steps, don't just say "go to" or "open".

This is not the Outlook Express newsgroup. You should post your question to

However, it sounds like your email may be getting trapped by the SPAM filters at
pacbell. You should give them a call and tell them that you aren't receiving
notes from yourself. They may have an answer.
