Why can't I see selected text in Visio. When selected text invisi

This is really puzzling to me. Using Visio 2002 SP2:
I type text into any shape or text box in Visio. I select the text and the
black selection box completely covers the text so I can't see it while it is
being formatted. I see it again only when I click ouside the object!

What is the color of the text? I think we made some changes in Visio 2003
to better compensate when the selection box is too similar to the text
color.

Thanks Mark but it does not matter what color the text is. The selection box
itself is not transparent over the text. My company help desk told me there
were problems with our "load" and that I could upgrade to Visio 2003. Go
Figure! LOL
