Active X files are stored in the folder Downloaded Program Files. You may
have a corrupt file in that folder that may be causing the problem
Suggest you go to Internet Options and on the General tab click on the
Settings button. Then, click on the Objects button {bottom}. You will get a
list of all files in that folder. Select all and delete all.
This action may not correct your problem, but will do no harm. Active X are
small files. If you go to a web site that needs an Active X file not found
in the expected folder, a new copy will be downloaded.
