Why can't I use mouse scroll in the Word?

I'm using a laptop, which is IBM-R40e. There is a TrackPoint in my laptop.
Recently, I changed to Office 2007. After that, I can use mouse scroll in
Excel, but can't use it in Word and Powerpoint. What' wrong with it? Does
anybody have same problem with me?
Please, tell me how to fix it.
