Why can't Outlook 2007 find recurrence information for an appoint.

I am running Windows Vista/Outlook 2007 -- I have a couple of meetings that I
cannot dismiss the reminder for or accept when an update is sent to me --
when I try, I get an error message that states: "cannot locate recurrence
information for this appointment". Is there a way to fix this??

Try starting Outlook once with the /cleanreminders command line switch. Type
the following in the Run box from the Start menu followed by ENTER:
Outlook.EXE /cleanreminders
