Why cut is not disabled when the remove menu item is disabled?

Hi

I can prevent the end user to remove an item in the section, or the repeatable section by disabling the remove function, and menu items.

But I still have the cut menu item / shortcut keys enabled, should I do something additional to disable them, I don't want the end user to delete the section / items using the cut menu.

Thanks

I'd second this!
I don't think there's anything we can do about it.
Tell your users not to select "Cut"! :)

Hi,

It's an interesting observation. Delete also works! :(

I guess that the behaviour is, to an extent, logical in the sense
that the user has editing permissions on the document and cut/delete
is a form of editing. But the check box only applies to the context
menu on the section, as far as I can see, and has no effect on the
keyboard keys (like Delete) or keyboard shortcuts like Ctrl+X.

You are right, it would in many/most situations be inappropriate for
an end user to be able to cut / delete sections or form controls in
this way.

If you have well-behaved users it's not a problem. But not all users
are well-behaved. :)
