Why do a few email users automatically go to the deleted folder?

The subject says it all. I have a couple of people who always end up in the
deleted folder when they send email to me. I don't have them in the junk mail
or adult content lists. I look forward to your clearing this up. One of them
uses yahoo.com and the other was a neo.rr.com person, same as I. ????

Outlook version? Account type? Do you have any rules?

Brian,

Thanks for the reply.

I'm an ancient user of Outlook 2000 SR-1 It shows 9.0.0.3821; as far as
account, I assume you mean for email and I'm set as Internet only; as far as
rules, there are 3 and I assume they were system defaults for junk, adult
content and exception. As I said earlier, I don't have these users in the
junk or adult content list of ids. Thanks in advance for any light you can
shed on this. It's more a nusiance than a problem since my deleted folder
goes to "bold" indicating there's a non-read email there. This is my clue to
check who's there.

What happens if you disable those rules?
