Why do I get "document not available" when opening any file?

Word 2007: I get "document not available" when opening any file. It was
working but happened after trying to trouble shoot a a macro error for
palmapp.dot.

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the
Office Plugin that comes with it (but don't disable Norton
