Why do I get Error Message: "Error 623?"

After Update Error Message: "Error 623" arises when I open FireFox

Now that I have completed the latest updates, I get this error message when
I open Firefox:

: The system could not find the phone book entry for this connection."

The solution for this error message does not seem to be applicable here. In
other words I can’t find any ‘the Dial Another Connection “ checkbox in
Network Settings. I connect directly to the network through a network. (HELP
said: NOTE: If your VPN connection doesn't require a dial-up connection, be
sure the Dial Another Connection First checkbox is unchecked and click OK.)

Sorry you have this problem, but it is completely unrelated to
Microsoft Office, which is what this newsgroup supports. In case
you didn't already know, Firefox is not a Microsoft product.

Duh! The problem was not with Firefox - Firefox worked fine until the MS
update modified some settings and switch from 'never dail an internet
connection' to 'alwways dail an internet connection.'
