Why do i get undeliverable messages I haven't sent?

I'm used to getting messages bounce back when addresses on my mailing lists
have expired, but now I am getting messages that I never even sent bounce
back. Why is this, and could it be that our system has a trojan virus?

It's probable that someone ELSE has a virus, and that this virus is spoofing
your email address as the return address.
