Why do I have to restart my computer to send an e-mail?

I can recieve e-mail with no problems. When I try to send e-mail the
following message is displayed. Note I replaced the e-mail name with XXXX!
If I restart the computer and resend it works fine for the rest of the day.
The next morning when I come in to the office, I have to restart my computer
to send e-mail.

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: 501261 Altos Oaks Med Group PA sys
Sent: 2/7/2005 9:44 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

'(e-mail address removed)' on 2/7/2005 9:44 AM
None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.
