why do i need multi language files from office update

There are several updates that are listed as required, but all of them are
for a foreign language, (other than American English).

The updates through http://officeupdate.com are intended to keep the entire purchased Office product complete and current, not just
the presently selected features/subset.

French, English and Spanish proofing tools are included
in the Office XP and 2003 product CDs.

To 'hide' any of the recommended updates you can use
http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate which provides both Windows and
Office XP/2003 updates, rather than http://officeupdate.com
