Why do I recive the same e-mail multiple times

I have Outlook 2003 and there are times that i recive the same e-mail about
10 times or more.

the people sending the e-mail said they had their IT department check the
computers and they did not find the problem, besided this multiple e-mail do
not come from a single user but from almost everybody who send me e-mails

Greetings, to ad to what you wrote...I too have this happen from only certain
people and they only send ONE email yet i ALWAYS get two of the same ones
EACH time! For me it is coming from their Yahoo account into my Outlook
Inbox. Not sure if this helps you get an answer but just happened to read
your post-good luck!
