Why do I use "Keep Text Flat" feature?

"Keep text flat" is used in conjunction with the 3D options. If you select it,
the text won't rotate along with a rotated shape, which means that it will be
easier to read. Try it for yourself.

What does the icon marked with 'A' on the status bar on the bottom o
the page indicate in the given picture?

The icon indicates that the document being viewed has been digitall
signed. To insert a signature in Word 2007, go to Insert > Signatur
Line and you should see 'Microsoft Office Signature Line' as an option

If you have a scanned example of your signature (such as a .GIF file)
you can insert your signature as an image in a document.
