Why do messages with links take so long to open links in Outlook 2007

Hello,

I've noticed this in Outlook 2007 (fully patched) but not in 2003. When I
receive an e-mail with a link - it takes a VERY long time to open that link.
If I click on one in Outlook express or a document it opens the link
instantly - just in Outlook 2007 this seems to be a problem. I've seen it
on a lot of PCs so it isn't just my copy of Outlook 2007. Is there a
registry entry I can change?

I have the same problem. I think it is also related to the long time it takes
to open any office document on my high-spec machine. I read something
somewhere that it may be due DDE but have no idea how to resolve.
