why do my font colors change automatically?

When working with a word doc, when I change the font color of a word,(for
examle: I make a web address blue), it will change to red after a while. If I
save it in blue it will change to red. Any ideas on how to eliminate this
from happening? thanks a lot!

Are you sure it isn't purple. The defined color for the Hyperlink character
style is blue; for Followed Hyperlink, it is purple.
