Why do my line jumps dissapear when I use a custom line pattern on dynamic
connectors?

Hi,

When I'm using Visio to draw process flow diagrams I always use dynamic
connectors because it automatical generates line jumps. This feature works
ok if I use 'standard' line patterns. Recently I learned how to make and use
custom line patterns so I would be able to visualise the different media
flowing through the pipes. But, bummer, my line jumps have disappeared!
Does anybody knows how to get them back?

Thanks
Jeroen

I just created a "double-line" pattern in Visio 2003 and applied it to
connectors. The line jumps work (although they don't look that great)

Are you sure you haven't changed the line jump-properties somehow? ( File >
Page Setup > Layout and Routhing)

Also, Pattern Properties might affect the jumping to some extent - do you
have a "stretch" or "repeating" pattern?

Is the pattern really small?

Does the patter have gaps that happen to appear where the line jumps would
be?

Hope this helps,
