Running XP Home. I have repaired and compacted my MS Access Professional
Edition 2003 database. When I attempt to repair my MS Word Pro Edition 2003
program, I get the "Error 1919. Error configuring ODBC data source: MS
Access Database, ODBC error 6. Component not found in the registry. Verify
that the file MS Access Database exists and that you can access it. Do I
need to remove and then reinstall MS Access or is this a deeper problem?
I also have missing DLL files that prevent the loading of certain software,
but that's another problem. Do I need to reinstall XP to be able to acquire
the missing DLLs?
