Why do my Outlook 2000 inserted photos get stripped from email an.

When I send an email using Outlook 2000, I sometimes insert photos into the
text. But when I send, it seems my program cleans out the photos, leaving red
x's and attaches the photos to the email. This leaves the photos and the text
out of order and takes away from the email impact. Why does it do this?
I use Windows XP Pro SP2, Norton 2005 System Works with 2005 Firewall. I am
using the default settings for each. I have turned off XP Firewall.

I also have anti-spyware in place (Spysweep 3.5)

No nothing has been stripped out because nothing was ever included. When you insert an image into HTML mail in
Outlook it does so by including a reference to the image on YOUR machine. Therefore when the recipient gets the
message the mail is looking to THEIR machine for the image which more than likely doesn't exist there. It is on YOUR
machine.

When you send an image you must include the image in the email easily verified by the size of the outgoing message. Try
doing it in Outlook RTF format.
