why do my websites in Word now show up with (HYPERLINK "http.....) Before I
upgraded to 2007, they were only highlighted and underlined.

Sounds like you are seeing the field codes. Click the Office button and
choose Word options. Select Advanced and scroll down to the Show Document
Content section. Uncheck the box for "Show field codes instead of their
values" and then click OK.
