Why do sounds in front page turn off when I click a thumbnail in p

Why do the sounds turn off on a page that is set to loop forever.. when I
click on the thumbnail in the photo album slide show that is on that page..
when the page first loads up the sound plays. well ok the .mid file would
never play but a mp3 and a wav would. I would like to have the sound play
while folks click on the thumbnail photos to see the large image.

Because the large image opens in a new page.
The new page then has focus so the music stops.

Steve, thanks.. does this mean each thrumbnail I click on is considered a new
page? Or is there a way to have that new page ( which actually seems like the
same page) play the tune as well?
