Why do spam msgs typically have strings of nonsense words?

Hi All,

Most of the SPAM I've gotten have had a long string of nonsense words. Do
ISPs that transmit that junk attach that stuff deliberately to help
recipients identify the junk. Or do the spammers do it themselves for some
purpose. Below is one of the smaller strings that I've received, which I
happened to have encountered today:

congruent annoy arum mecum partial evensong pocketbook omission teenage
removal gustav fiendish butternut freddie colossi storyteller

It's done by the spammers to (among other things) reduce the percentage of
offensive words and hereby try to confuse the Spamfilters.
