Why do Visio Process Engineering Annotations not retain stencil s.

I'm using Visio Technical 2000 Process Engineering Solutions and the Process
Annotation Autolabel shapes from the stencil do not retain their shapes after
drug to the drawing - they all end up as rectangles!! What is wrong?
