Why does a number I insert ina form change auotomatically

Hi,

I am really new to Access-

I am trying to create some datbases and forms and in the trying find
something very trying!

I want to insert a number that could be 94.7 or 100 or 100.3 (radio
frequencies) but so far the number goes to the next full number.

When I insert 94.7 it goes to 95.

I have for field set as a General Number - Decimal places 'Auto'

Help...

Open your table in design view.
Select the problem field.
In the lower pane, change the File Size property to:
Double

The integer types can only store whole numbers.
