Why does Access truncate memo fields in a report?

I have a table with a memo field. When I run a query on the table and view a
report, the memo field data is truncated. I've reviewed all settings and
can't seem to figure out why all of the memo field fails to display. Data in
the memo field of my table is complete but it doesn't display in the report.
Any thoughts ?
