Why does Business Contact Manager not allow you to use SQL 2005?

I already have SQL Server 2005 Standard on one machine and SQL Server 2005
Express on another. When I install Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2003,
it installs MSDE to run the database. Since SQL Server 2005 Express is the
next edition of MSDE, why will the program not recognize this and not install
another database server application?
