Why does Calendar only work from the Deleted Items folder?

I have installed Outlook from MS Office Basic and when I tried to open
Calendar a pop up message said "Operation failed".

Calendar then appeared in the Deleted Items folder from where it works OK.

I have tried to move Calendar back to the its correct position in the
Personal Folders but I get a message saying it is a special folder that can
not be moved.

Although Calendar works OK from the Deleted Items folder I would like to
access it from the correct position.

Any ideas anyone? Hope you can help.
