We just upgraded to Exchange server 2003 from Exchange 5.5
As we upgrade clients from Outlook 97 to Outlook 2003 we found a problem
with deferred email.
When an Outlook 97 user sends an email to be delivered at a future date and
time, it goes to the deferred folder on our Exchange server.
The user does not have have Outlook 97 open for the email to be sent on the
specified date and time.
When an Outlook 2003 user sends an email to be delivered at a future date
and time it goes to the outbox on users PC. This is true in whether in cache
mode or not.
If the user does not have Outlook open the email will not be sent.
Do we have something configured wrong?
