Why does Enterprise 2007 configure every time I open a program or.

I uninstalled MS Office Home nad Student 2007 trial. I installed MS Office
Enterprise 2007. Now every time I open any Enterprise program or data file
on my computer the program has to configure before it opens. Also note that
when I uninstalled Home and Student trial the Activation Assistant did not
uninstall. Now when I try to uninstall it through Control Panel it won't let
me.
