Why does existing clip art and borders disappear from my document?

I have created a 16 page newsletter that I am working on and it is filled
with clip art and borders. I added 4 pages yesterday. Today I attempted to
open the document and all the clip art and borders are not showing in the
document. It is about 95% completed and I am fast approaching my deadline to
go to print.
HELP! What can I do to make the clip art and graphics "show" again in the
document?
