why does express look for mcfee dll file

on my new computer (which had mcfee programs which I deleted) when i boot up
express i get a message that says-"C:\progra~1\mcafee.com\vso\outscan.dll
could not be installed or loaded".

how do i get rid of this anoying message?

Scan your registry for McAfee entries and delete them? That might work or
it's where I'd start at any rate.
